This treatment consists of a series of custom-made, almost invisible plastic covers (aligners) that are placed over your teeth. The aligners ensure that the teeth are gradually moved to the desired position.

Brackets
We work with self-ligating brackets. Self-ligating brackets are smaller than regular brackets. In addition, the wire is held in the bracket itself. By using the bracket itself instead of ligatures or elastics, less friction is created between the bracket and wire, which means less force is needed to move the teeth and molars. This makes the treatment easier.
Hyrax expander RPE
When a child is still growing it can occur that the jaw is too narrow to align the teeth properly. The RPE brace pushes the two halves of the upper jaw apart. This is done using a screw system that must be tightened daily. After this treatment, treatment with brackets is often performed to align the teeth to the correct position.
